Overview

This is the first in a series of blogs that will cover various topics concerning the operation of PRIMUS’ Pri-Matic® PSS9 control system.

Five Access Levels

There are five levels of authorized access to the PSS9 control system that require a unique User ID and Password.

Login is required to start a cycle as well as access the MAINTENANCE screen. The DOOR STATUS screen (DOOR STATUS A and B screens for double door units) provide a login capability for the following five levels of access identified in the Table below.

The end user is responsible for updating and maintaining all levels of passwords.

Level of AccessUser
Identification
Access Description
Administrator1Access to all functions including Password Management
Service2-4Access to all functions except Password Management
Calibrator5-7Access to all Supervisor functions plus Calibration
Supervisor8-13Access to all Operator functions plus Cycle Parameters
Operator14-25Access to Operational functions including Manual

Each level of access will provide the user with different capabilities as shown by the Table.
