PRIMUS strongly recommends the use of a proper gasket tool during gasket installation and removal to avoid accidentally cutting or nicking the gasket and subsequently causing leaks.
The use of screwdrivers, scrapers, putty knives, and other hard metallic objects should be avoided.
Based on feedback, it appears that numerous Authorized Service Agents (ASA) and in-house sterilizer maintenance technicians and operators are unaware that a special gasket tool is available from PRIMUS.
